Free plan limits, stated plainly
The free plan gives each server 0.3 vCPU, 256 MB RAM and 512 MB disk, with up to 3 free server slots. That is enough for a small or medium bot that is mostly idle between commands.
Free servers run on an uptime allowance that you extend by watching a short ad. If your bot has to be online all the time, a paid plan is the better fit. Heavier bots, such as music or image bots, also need the extra CPU and RAM of a paid plan.
